Natalie A. Carraway

Natalie A. Carraway’s primary focus is labor and employment law, specializing in representing law enforcement public sector labor organizations. She has successfully represented clients in all aspects of labor relations and has appeared before the Public Employment Relations Board, New York State Supreme Court and its Appellate Division, the US District Court for the Northern District, and many contract and disciplinary arbitrators. She was a contributing editor for New York State Bar Association’s Public Sector Labor and Employment Law, Third and Fourth Editions (2009).

Aside from representing clients in labor relations matters, Ms. Carraway also assists them with structuring various forms of business organizations, and provides the firm’s clients with overall corporate advice.

Ms. Carraway also accepts cases involving animals such as dangerous dog cases, litigation involving "puppy mills", animal cruelty, injuries to animals, and pet ownership disputes. She instructs a course on "Conducting Animal Cruelty Investigations" at a local police academy and teaches an Animal Law course at Mohawk Valley Community College.

She received degrees from Mohawk Valley Community College and the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her juris doctor degree from Albany Law School. Ms. Carraway is admitted to practice within New York State Courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District.

Ms. Carraway is a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations (recently appointed as a member of the Committee on Animals and the Law).
